Growing up in a western Cleveland suburb, Kristi Kloss was introduced to metal in a high school art class and it inspired her to become an artist specializing in jewelry and metals. Kristi describes herself as, “a maker of objects; some are wearable, some are functional, all are fabricated with the tradition of craft and aesthetics in mind.” Her dominant medium is metal, though she also uses wood, fibers, plastic, and other materials to realize her ideas
